HOW OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED
We use a method of intervention that is clinically proven to break subconscious associations with negative thought patterns and quickly draws on internal skills to solve problems from new perspectives. We use methods for change that work, and you will be pleased with your results.Hypnotherapy is not counseling; it is a powerful tool for change approved by leading medical and psychiatric associations for 50+ years.
We custom design targeted programs to meet the needs of each individual client.
We do not offer “one-size-fits-all” services. We know that everyone has their own unique problems which require unique solutions, and we will work with you to develop a session plan designed to meet your specific goals.
Most people find 1-3 sessions – usually scheduled over a few days or weeks – provides the tools necessary for permanent change.
You will find hypnosis to be a very relaxing and positive experience. You are never “under the control” of another person; you are always able to make all decisions, and you will enjoy the professional surroundings of our comfortable, relaxing office.
The research is in:
Hypnosis is consider a valid treatment method for many different conditions by many professional and medical associations.
Hypnosis is not an “alternative treatment,” but rather a method of using naturally occurring trance phenomena to change the mind and body. Hypnosis is considered a natural, low-risk and beneficial process by the Mayo Center and other healthcare organizations.
Natural also means that it uses no drugs or other chemicals, so you don’t have to worry about side effects. Hypnotherapy is really a learning experience, where the hypnotist guides you into a state where new learnings can take place and you can finally break old associations or adapt new skills that will help you to achieve your goals.
Can you do hypnosis with a friend? Absolutely!
When making changes, having a peer support person can be very valuable. Couples or friends trying to accomplish the same goals can save money by attending hypnosis sessions together.
We also offer group discounts to companies, teams, schools and community organizations seeking group smoking cessation, test preparation, sports concentration and other hypnosis services. Contact us for more information.
We work collaboratively with others
At the South Lousiana Hypnosis Center, we do not offer services that are a substitute for medical, chiropractic, dental or psychological care, instead preferring to work with those who refer to us, and we refer clients who need additional care beyond our scope of practice to other licensed professionals. We value the therapeutic relationship other professionals have with their clients, and we work collaboratively to help resolve specific issues.
